hi there.
aj wright was born and raised in appalachia. she runs pictura journal and her first collection will be released by pulley press in 2026. her work has appeared or is forthcoming in good river review, hole in the head review, antiphony journal, apartment poetry, boats against the current, SWING, the table review, and elsewhere, usually under her full name. she holds an mfa in poetry from bowling green state university, works in community education and office admin, and lives in the woods with two easily-confused cats, a yard full of deer, and a garden packed with sad vegetables.
